TRAIN YOUR EAR.
STRENGTHEN YOUR VOICE.
SING LIKE YOU MEAN IT!
Singing isn't just about hitting the notes—it's about hearing them, trusting your voice, and knowing how to use it with purpose.
My personal approach to voice coaching is rooted in the power of ear training and the psychological insight that helps you actually trust your voice.
And because singing can bring up a lot (performance anxiety, perfectionism, self-doubt), I bring a psychology-informed approach to help you move through the mindset stuff, too—without overthinking every note!

Hi, I’m Gwendolyn—worship leader, coach, and counseling psychology grad student!
I’m also a classically trained vocalist with over 20 years of experience performing and teaching across genres like gospel, R&B, pop/contemporary, and jazz.
But experience alone doesn’t tell the whole story. I also know what it feels like to lose confidence in your voice. There was a time I stopped singing altogether, not because I lost the skill, but because I lost the trust. Slowly, through coaching others, I found my way back. Teaching became the doorway to reconnecting with my own sound, and now it’s become the heart of what I do.
I’m also currently earning my master’s in psychology, and that work continues to shape how I approach voice lessons. I understand that singing isn’t just technical, it’s personal. It's vulnerable. The mental blocks, the fear of being heard, the inner critic? I’ve been there, and I know how to support you through it.
My goal is to help you build not just vocal skill, but a voice you trust; one that feels grounded, expressive, and fully your own.
METHOD

Every session is tailored to you — but here’s what we usually dig into:
Ear training + pitch accuracy: Learn to hear what you’re singing and stay in tune using a cappella-based techniques.
Tone + breath support: Build a stronger, more flexible voice from the ground up.
Vocal awareness: Learn what your voice is doing and how to shift it with control.
Mindset + expression: Work through the fear, tension, or perfectionism that gets in your way, so you can actually enjoy singing again.
You’ll leave each session with tools you can use immediately, and a better sense of what’s next for your voice.
