Are you tired of dreaming about your book, but never getting meaningful words on the page?

Maybe you’ve been telling yourself things like…

  • “I really want to work on this story, but I have no idea if I’m doing this right.”

  • “I want to write a novel, but I don’t think anyone will read it.”

  • “I was super excited when I started writing, but the creative juices have stopped.”

  • “Self-publishing is my dream, but the process seems so overwhelming.”

Many writers encounter fears and doubts about their abilities!

The fact that there are so many methods and structures for writing make it that much easier to become so overwhelmed by the process, that you never write a word.

I know this is true because I’ve been there!

And I quickly realized that while articles and templates were helpful, they didn’t help me build a deeper knowledge of my story.

I read tons of books and had tons of questions, but no one I could talk to to help flesh out the answers. I wondered what it would be like to have:

Someone to support me through the process of planning my book.

Someone to provide answers in real-time, and actionable steps that would keep me on the path to a well-written story.

  • Defining your story and all its major elements

  • Creating complex characters that connect with readers

  • Building a story world that’s immersive + impactful

  • Feeling confident in the value of your writing

  • Getting words on the page instead of staring at a blank screen

  • Having a detailed roadmap of your story in your hands

    —All without the overwhelm?

Your Binge-worthy Book is a 6-week intensive designed to remove the confusion and overwhelm from the process of writing your first draft.

As a writer, I know how frustrating it can be to turn all the ideas in your head into a clear and cohesive story. I’ve taken my 10+ years of experience as a published author and writing coach, and funneled it into an in-depth program that teaches you all the elements of building a winning first draft including— how to craft engaging stories, develop life-like characters, and create immersive story worlds.

“A few years ago, Gwen took me under her wing and gave me revolutionary feedback on one of the first manuscripts I ever wrote. Needless to say, I was a fledgling writer, so this was no small task. Gwen offered her time and guidance, and spent many conversations (patiently) explaining things I did wrong and right. She gave me advice I still use to this day.

Advice that has helped me gain millions of reads and thousands of followers on Wattpad. I can say with confidence that she is part of the reason I have advanced in the writing world, and continue to see my dreams of becoming a published author grow closer each day.

  • No! This intensive is great for new writers, but works just as well for advanced writers who are still have trouble completing their books.

  • We will cover the 5 phases listed above over the course of 6 weeks. Each week, you’ll receive a live training then have the rest of the week to complete your assignment. Any questions you have can be posed in your Basecamp workspace. At the end of the week (before your next training), you’ll submit your assignment for me to review.

  • I believe in providing a high-touch coaching experience that leaves you feeling seen and heard. This intensive is a major commitment of your time, efforts, and finances, and I want you to walk away having all your questions answers.

The best way to do this is by limiting the amount of writers who can join the program to 10 per cohort.

This allows more time to focus on member projects, and makes it easier for you to make connections within the group.

  • Basecamp is an online organizational space for projects. It allows me to share all materials for the intensive with you, review your submissions, and answer questions.

In short, it keeps all your intensive materials organized in one place, so you can focus on writing!

  • The biggest benefit of completing this intensive is the confidence you’ll gain in your writing goals, and the understanding that you can write an impactful and engaging story!

You’ll also be crystal clear on your story idea, have a detailed roadmap of your binge-worthy book, and a 90-day action plan on the exact steps you need to take to finish your draft.

  • Like any endeavor we attempt, the outcome is directly related to the input! This intensive has all the tools you need to build a solid foundation for your first draft. If you’re committed to writing your story and doing the work, this intensive will absolutely work for you.

  • Both! Though the process differs, the intensive teaches both writers of fiction and non-fiction how to clarify ideas, structure content, and overcome limiting beliefs.

Non-fiction writers will spend an additional week in the design phase to build out the book introduction.

  • Yes! You will have up to 2 weeks of support (via Basecamp) to ask any questions that come up for you as you begin to work on your draft.

  • If fleshing out the major details of your idea and building the ultimate story roadmap is of the utmost importance, there’s another option for you.

This 6wk intensive is also available as a private, done-with-you VIP day. Together, we take 10 hours to hyper-focus on your story and complete the 5 modules of the intensive all in one day!

If this option feels right for you, or you aren’t sure which one to choose, let’s hop on a Story Discovery Chat to talk it through.

  • If you’d prefer a more intimate coaching experience as you develop your the roadmap for your binge-worthy book, there are two available options.
